All aspects relating to the funeral are handled by our family
so you and your family will have peace of mind during a difficult time.
We understand the importance of attending funeral visitations and services to personally offer your condolences to a family who has recently lost a loved one. However, we have to obey the recommendations provided by our government and state funeral board officials by enforcing that everybody attending must wear a mask. We are also limited to 25 people in the building at one time.
Although a hug, kiss, or a handshake can mean the world to family who is grieving a loss, it is not the only way to offer condolences. A phone call, text message, card, or even as simple as leaving a comment on our website’s tribute wall can truly mean so much to the family.
The Donohue Funeral Home is family owned and has been in operation since 1898. We currently have six locations in Delaware and Chester County which are staffed by three generations of the Donohue family and tenured associates who work diligently to ensure that your family is treated with the dignity and compassion you deserve. When you call, the telephone is always answered by a member of the funeral home staff or a Donohue family member. We do not use an answering service. Our staff is always professional in appearance and demeanor.
