Almighty God in his infinite wisdom mercy and grace gently closed the eyes of our beloved Theodore Earl Hall senior as he entered into eternal rest on January 9, 2021.

Theodore was born on July 4, 1954 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, the eldest son of the late Samuel E. Hall and the late Odessa D. Hall. A south and west Philadelphia native, he was educated in the Philadelphia public school system, and graduated from Overbrook high school in 1972.

In the years that followed, Teddy, as he was often called, worked many jobs throughout the Philadelphia area. His motto: “If I can help people, then I know I’ve done something meaningful in my life. ”He applied that to everything he set out to do. Always proud, he often boasted about his 40+ year work accomplishments which included: Alfred Angelos, Bleaker Street in Garments, Cobra Textiles, Para-Transit Driver, Roto-rooter Drain Cleaner, South Philadelphia Walmart Maintenance Manager, and lastly, Philadelphia International Airport Floor Team Member from which he retired in 2017. Throughout all those years he maintained a passion for music. He was a bass guitar player and member of the Frank Jones band. He often spoke about his years performing locally and across the state and especially about the lead singer of the group and beloved brother-in-law Delmus Richard Forbes.

In the remaining years of his life Teddy married for the second time (first wife Cynthia) to Tammi N Washington. Their union brought forth much happiness.

A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God proved to us he only takes the best. His life and and legacy will forever live on in the hearts and memories of: Wife Tammi; Sons Marc Wilson - Wife Naimah, Theodore E Hall Jr. (Jkee), Johnathan Hall (Einstein) - Wife Demetria; Grandchildren Eniyah, Damon, Jabril, Musa, Aya, Cameron, Arden; Sisters Linda Bounacer, Angelina Forbes - Husband Delmus (Deceased), Lillian Hall (Deceased), Phyllis Mickens, Pamela Mickens; Brothers Kenneth Mickens, Lydon Hall - Wife Rachel; Nieces and Nephews Natasha, Kameela, Vanessa, Naasir, Ahmad, Emma Hall along with a host of other relatives and friends.

“Miss Me But Let Me Go”

When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me, I want no rights in a group filled room, why I cry for a soul set free. Miss me a little but not too long and with your heads down low, remember the love that we once shared, miss me but let me go. For this journey we all must take in each must go alone it's all a part of the Master’s plan a step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart, go to friends we know and bring your sorrows in doing good deeds, miss me but let me go.
