Teresa Kennedy

Teresa S. Kennedy, 95, of Morton, Pa passed away on February 8, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Kennedy. She is also predeceased by her parents Charles and Mary (nee Pfleger) Schmidbacker and her sisters Mary Connolly & Dorothy Tidd.

Teresa is survived by her five children, John (Lisa) Kennedy, Margaret (Anthony) Junod, Teresa (Brian) Reilly, Kathleen (Jason) Pluck and Robert Kennedy. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, Richard (Joanna) Jones, John (Isa) Kennedy, Michael Kennedy, Robert (Liz) Junod, Samuel Junod, Megan Junod, Joseph Junod, Patrick Reilly, Andrew Reilly, Brittany Pluck, Travis Pluck and her two great-grandchildren, Blake Jones and Dominic Junod.

Teresa graduated from West Catholic High School for Girls in 1943. She worked at Bell Telephone for 25 years and volunteered at Little Flower Manor, St. Francis of Assisi Thrift Shop, Boy Scouts and was involved in numerous groups at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church & School. Teresa was devoted to her Catholic faith and attended Daily Mass when possible. Family was most important to her and she was happiest when she got time to spend with her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited in attend Teresa’s Visitation on Saturday February 13th from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 2130 Franklin Ave. Morton, PA 19070 followed by her 11:00 AM Funeral Mass. Inter: SS Peter & Paul Cemetery   Covid precautions will be maintained.
