Steven R. Schaad

July 30, 1965 ~ July 16, 2020 (age 54)


It is with great sadness that the family announces that on Thursday, July 16, 2020, Steven R. Schaad, a loving son and brother, passed away at the age of 54 at his residence in Arizona.

Steven was born on July 30,1965 in West Chester, PA. He is survived by his mother Louise Nicastro, father Ronald Schaad, stepmother Bonnie Schaad, sister Sherry DiRita, brother-in-law Robert DiRita, sister Susan Schaad, sister Jeanine Dillon, brother-in-law Joseph Dillon; his niece and nephew, Morgan Nicolas and Nicolas Milovanovic.

Steven was a 1983 graduate of West Chester East Senior High School and went on to graduate cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Loyola University.  He was drawn to the financial industry because of his passion for helping others. Steven found it especially rewarding when he could alleviate stress for clients by making processes easier to comprehend and utilize. He held a variety of positions, which have ranged from Stockbroker, Investment Consultant to a Director of Operations. 

He had a genuine and kind-hearted way of making everyone feel welcome and could strike up a conversation and talk to anyone.  You could always count on his witty sense of humor to lift your spirits.  Steven had a passion for music and one of his favorite past times was going to see live music and concerts.  Other hobbies he enjoyed were golfing, cooking, watching movies and NFL games and spending time with family.

A funeral service and celebration of Steven’s life will be held for family and friends at a later date.
