Mary Ellen Morrissey

Mary Ellen Morrissey, 79, of Downingtown, PA, passed away on August 10, 2020.
Mary Ellen is survived by her husband Thomas and her three children: Maryanne
Morrissey Satterfield (Dave), Jane O’Neill (Matt), and Joseph Morrissey (Marcia). All of
whom loved her dearly and will never forget her resilience, humor, grace, and undying
love and caring for them. MaryEllen was pre-deceased by her beloved son Tommy. She
was the best Nanny ever and she cherished her four precious grandchildren: Liam,
Kate, Ryan and Tommy. She was the dear sister of Jack O’Connell (the late Julie),
Anne O’Connell, and Jim O’Connell (Patty); also survived by her nieces, nephews,
cousins, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 6-8 PM Thursday, August 13, 2020 at
The Donohue Funeral Home, 366 W. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087, 610-989-
9600, and 9:30-10:20 AM Friday at Ss. Philip & James Church, 107 N. Ship Road,
Exton, PA 19341, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.

Social distancing and facial coverings are required at all viewings and mass.

Interment services will be held immediately following mass at St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester PA.
