It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jacqueline Mary Bruce. Jacqueline, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend returned to the Lord July 8, 2021. She passed peacefully at home with her devoted husband, Walter, by her side.

Jacqueline was a life-long resident of Schenectady, New York and moved to Newtown Square, PA in 2018 to be closer to her daughter, Heather. Jacqueline graduated from Mont Pleasant High School and was a thirty year employee of the Schenectady County Finance Department. Jacqueline was a parishioner of Saint Madeleine Sophie Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and active member of the Christ Child Society. Jacqueline joined Sacred Heart Parish in Havertown, PA and continued to faithfully serve the Lord.

Jacqueline was born to the late Alfred A. and Bernice (Kennedy) Lucier of Schenectady, New York and was predeceased by her brothers James (Ursula) and Joseph (Francis) Lucier.

Jacqueline is survived by her loving husband of sixty years, Walter G. Bruce and her three children Heather (Christopher) Cataldo of Havertown, PA, Geoffrey (Melissa) Bruce of Milford, MI and James (Deborah) Bruce of Naperville, IL. She will be missed dearly by her ten grandchildren Cameron Bruce of Hartford, CT, Rachel Bruce of Washington D.C., Jared Bruce of Milford, MI, PFC Joseph Bruce of Milford, MI, Emily Cataldo of Newport Beach, CA, Grace Cataldo of Philadelphia, PA, Connor Cataldo of Havertown, PA , Luke Cataldo of Havertown, PA, Colin Bruce of Naperville, IL and Lauren Bruce of Naperville, IL.

Services and Interment will be held privately.
