Edward "Ted" Coyle, III

April 14, 1945 — May 12, 2020

Edward "TED" H. Coyle, lll, 75, of Wayne, PA, passed away peacefully after a brief illness, at Paoli Hospital on May 12, 2020. He was born in Delaware County, PA. The son of the late Edward H. and Edith (nee Stagg) Coyle. Served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps and an organ donor to the Gift of Life Program.

Ted graduated from Upper Darby High School class of 1963 and earned a Bachelor of Science from Widener University. Later attended the American College of Financial Services and earned his professional designations of CLU, ChFC. He pursued a career in the Financial Industry working for several major NY Stock Exchange Member Firms, in the course of his career owned a trading firm on the Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX).

After Ted retired he pursued his passions and earned a private pilot's license and was a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA). Flying the Cirrus Aircraft out of Advanced Wings Field in Blue Bell, PA, Ted was also an avid golfer.

Ted was the loving husband of Sheila (nee Bruder) Coyle for 38 years; loving Stepfather of Maureen Howard Ciraulo (Chris) and Kim Howard Shelsy (John); Pop Pop of Cortlyn Johanna and Reese Lillian Shelsy, Christopher John and Connor Joseph Ciraulo. He was predeceased by his sister, Andrea Bennyhoff Crawford.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a service will be held & announced at a later date.
