Dorothy Lordt

Dorothy M. “Shine” Lordt (nee Speese), age 95, of Drexel Hill, PA, formerly of Southwest Philadelphia, passed away on January 23, 2020. Born in Springfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Ellen Speese (nee Dougherty).

Dorothy graduated from West Catholic High School for Girls in 1943. She worked as an Accounting Technician for the U.S. Government. She loved doing puzzles, especially word and shape puzzles. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved ones.

Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Antione Lordt; loving mother of Richard Lordt (Lyn Alindogan); caring grandmother of Simon and Timothy Lordt. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Saturday, February 1,2020 9:30-10:30 AM at St. Bernadette Church, 1035 Turner Ave, Drexel Hill, PA 19026, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
