Donald Bringhurst

Donald A. “Don” Bringhurst, Sr., 71, of East Lansdowne, PA, passed away on October 21, 2020.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1949, he was the son of the late Louis and Daisy (nee Mahoney) Bringhurst. Don was a bus driver for SEPTA, then Springfield and Lower Merion Townships. He enjoyed vacationing with his family in Ocean City, NJ. Don was a real character and liked to play practical jokes with his kids. He was always willing to help others and was loved by all.

Don was the beloved husband of Joann (nee Reif) Bringhurst; loving father of Donald Bringhurst, Jr., Timothy Bringhurst, Christopher Bringhurst, and the late Tamara Bringhurst; caring grandfather of Elizabeth and Christopher; dear brother of Dave, Jimmy, Florence, and Ronnie; predeceased by his siblings, George and Frank; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:30-11 AM Saturday, October 31, 2020 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, 610-449-0300, followed by his Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
