Quietly and peacefully in the early afternoon hours at 12:30 PM on Thursday, December 10, 2020, Deborah Ann Childs departed this mortal life.

Deborah was born to the late Bernard and Edna Cowdery on August 30, 1945. Deborah was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She served under the Catholic religion. She worked for her stepfather, Bobby, as a barmaid and she also worked in a cleaners. Deborah was united in Holy Matrimony to Raymond Edward Childs, Sr. Later she met and fell in love with Luther Farrow who preceded her in death, whom she loved dearly.

Deborah enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, she enjoyed shopping and family cookouts. Deborah loved to laugh and joke around. It was never a dull moment with Deborah. She especially enjoyed spending a quantity of time with her grandson and son. Deborah had one daughter-in-law whom she adored. Deborah will be truly missed.

She leaves to cherish her memory her only son Raymond Edward Childs, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Jeanette Childs; her grandson Raymond Edward Childs, III; her sisters Bernita Morris, Claudia Cooper, and Stephanie Adams; her nieces Clea Williams, Alexis Lemar, Ashley Morris; her great-nieces Brooke Smith and Blake Cooper; her great-great-niece Zurielle Williams; her nephews Blakeley Cooper, Blaec Sanders, and Kevin Lemar; and her great-nephew Troy Williams.

A special thanks to the family.
