Arthur Schlosberg

July 17, 1925 — April 15, 2020

Arthur M. Schlosberg, 94, of North Wildwood, NJ, passed away on April 15, 2020.

Born in 1925 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late George and Rose Schlosberg.

He was a decorated World War II Army veteran, who fought in the South Pacific Theater, receiving two Bronze Stars for his participation in the Battle of the Philippines, aiding in the liberation of the Philippine Islands. He attained the rank of Staff Sergeant and was a Squad leader for Heavy Mortar Crew. He was honorably discharged in February 1946.

He worked as a Postal Worker for the US Post Office.

He loved North Wildwood and all the friends he had at Russo's Market especially Liz and Kelly.  He enjoyed going to the Elks and Owens Pub in North Wildwood.

He Loved football, was an avid Eagles fan and season ticket holder and also an avid Phillies fan.  He loved going to Broadway Shows, enjoyed traveling, especially to the sea shore.

He is survived by Catherine Randazzo (Al),.  Eugene Stelzer (Joanne)  Stephen Stelzer (Donna). He shared many good times at the shore and on Holidays with his Grand Nieces Stacey Saunders, Kimberley Atkins, Grand Nephews Keith Randazzo, Stephen Randazzo, Greg Randazzo and their families.  He is loved by many other Nieces and Nephews.

Life celebration and memorial for family and friends is being postponed to a time in the future when all can gather safely to celebrate a life well lived. At the time of that memorial announcement information will be given as to where donations may be directed in lieu of flowers.
