William A. Waclawsky

William “Bill” Waclawsky January 30, 1930 – December 5, 2025 

William “Bill” Waclawsky passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 95 years old.

 Born on January 30, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA, Bill lived a life defined by devotion - to his family, his country, his church and his craft. He proudly served in the United States Air Force before beginning a remarkable 43-year career as a tool and die maker with The Budd Company in Philadelphia, where he was known for his precision, dedication, and strong work ethic.

Bill was the beloved husband of Helen (Klause) Waclawsky, his wife of 71 years, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and unwavering commitment. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary (Malinowsky) Waclawsky and his brother John Peter. He was the loving father of Susan (Dave) and Jeanne, and the cherished grandfather of Joseph (Amy), Jason (Samantha), Beth (Drew), Nicole (Roland), Jennifer and Christine. Bill was also blessed with 10 great-grandchildren who brought him tremendous joy: Cole, Jackson, Cody, DJ, Mia, RJ, Ana, Eric, Gianna and Daniel.

 Outside of work, Bill was an avid golfer and member of the Blind Golfer’s Association. He was a member of the St. Anastasia’s Bowling League for many years. Bill enjoyed working outside and driving his tractor in the woods behind his home. His steady humor and kind spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. 

A viewing and funeral Mass will be held at Saint Anastasia Parish, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073 on Friday, December 12, 2025 beginning at 9:30 AM. Bill’s legacy lives on in the family he loved so deeply and the countless lives he touched with his quick wit, generosity and loyalty. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
