William P. "Bill" Tezla

William P. “Bill” Tezla, age 88, of Glenolden, PA, passed away on January 26, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Bill was the son of the late Anthony and Mary Tezla (nee Stupak).

Bill was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He had been employed as a Mail Carrier with the United States Post Office. He worked as a crossing guard on Oak Lane in Glenolden and handled the delivery of mail at the Media Court House.

Bill was a member of St. Joseph Church in Collingdale and a member of the American Legion. He had a great sense of humor. He was an avid puzzle enthusiast, enjoyed playing Mahjong, and was active in both the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa Tezla (nee Catrambone), his loving children Theresa Dearros (Christopher) and Joann Smith, he was predeceased by his son George Tezla. Dear grandfather of Valerie, Christine, Greg, Courtney, Doug, Trevor, Brendon, Zachary, Mark and the late Ryan. Also survived by his 8 great-grandchildren.  Brother of Robert Tezla (Carol) and the late Joseph and Vernon Tezla.
