William Sharpless, Sr.

William Grant Sharpless, Sr., age 86, of West Chester, PA, passed away on January 25, 2019. He was the devoted son of the late Grant J. and Harriette (nee Johnson) Sharpless.
William was the beloved husband of Jacqueline H. Sharpless (nee Harper); loving father of William G. Sharpless, Jr. (Aura Maria), Susan S. Stuart (Glen) and Karen S. Coviello (Joseph); dear brother of Robert V. Sharpless; caring grandfather of Laura (Jason), Christopher, Jason, Jennifer, David (Megann), Andrew, Nicholas, and Kaitlin and great-grandfather of Kamryn and Cayden.
William was a 1950 graduate of Lansdowne High School and a 1954 graduate of Penn State University. He was an avid fan of Penn State football and the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. William's favorite hobby was working on his model trains.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 9:30-10:50 AM followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 W Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, PA. Interment Private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Neighborhood Hospice, 795 E. Marshall Street, Suite 204, West Chester, PA 19380 or Westminster Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
