Beloved husband of Kay (McNamara) Raftery; loving father of Brian (Jennifer Williams) and Christopher (Victoria Mechkov); dear grand-father of Tegan Raftery and Bridget Raftery.
Bill was an editor at the Philadelphia Inquirer for 33 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday at THE DONOHUE FUNERAL HOME, 366 W. Lancaster Ave, Wayne, PA, 610-989-9600 and Tuesday 10:00 to 10:50 A.M. at St. Monica Church, 635 First Ave, Berwyn, PA 19312, followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 A.M. Int. St. Monica Cemetery.
