William (Bill) G. McFeely, age 95, of Upper Darby, PA passed away on July 25, 2018.
Born in Muldonagh, County Derry, Ireland, he was the son of the late Brian and Ann McFeely (nee Deeny). He was also pre-deceased by many brothers and sisters.
In 1947, Bill left Ireland and moved to Chicago only to relocate permanently in Philadelphia.
Bill served in the United States Army. He was employed as a truck driver for F.C. Haab Oil Company for many years before retiring. He also ran his own landscaping business for over 20 years.
Bill is survived by his longtime companion, Barbara Donovan, his sister, Frances O'Kane, and many nephews and nieces, extended family and friends in the Irish-American community.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family at St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA to attend his Wake on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 9:30 a.m., which will be followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m.
It was Bill's wish to have his remains taken back to Ireland for internment. A Memorial Mass and Internment will take place at a later date in Ireland.
