William C. Kohler

William C. Kohler, age 81, of Havertown, PA, passed away on November 11, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Fredrick T. and Mary T. (nee Hettel) Kohler.

William was the beloved husband of the late Lucy (nee DiFelice) Kohler; loving father of Mary Kohler, Christina Reagan (James), William Kohler Jr. (Paula), and Jennifer Lord (Kevin); adoring grandfather of Michael, Katie, Ryan, Connor, Shannon, Andrew, Danny, Jack, and Meghan; caring brother of Joseph Kohler and June Caruso;  brother-in-law to the late Tom Caruso, the late Angelo DiFelice, Louise DiFelice, the late Pierna Volpi, Gino Volpi and Al and Barbara DiFelice.        

Bill was raised in Havertown where he spent his days playing sports, working on old cars and making friendships that lasted a lifetime. He was a 1961 graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School and was a loyal and active member of Carpenter’s LU 845.  He retired in 1999, and spent his retirement working in his garage, golfing,  doing odd jobs for friends and family, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid  Philadelphia sports fan and an even  bigger fan of his grandchildren,  as he was always a constant on the sidelines at their sporting events.                                          

 
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 9:30-11:00 AM on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at St. Denis Church, 2401 St. Denis Ln., Havertown, PA 19083, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Int. SS Peter & Paul Cem.
