William J. "Billy" Donohue

William J. “Billy” Donohue, age 63, of Havertown, PA, passed away on June 12, 2022.   Born in Drexel Hill, PA, he was the son of the late William I. Donohue and Anna Marie Donohue (nee Devine).  Predeceased by his brother, David Donohue. 

Billy had been employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Upper Darby Township for 40 years.   He was a 44 year member of Garrettford-Drexel Hill Fire Company where he held the positions of Lieutenant in 1983, Captain from 1984-1988 and was a member of the Board of Directors from 1989-1993.  

Billy loved hunting and fishing and spending time in Crystal Beach and Elkview Shore in Maryland. 

Billy is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy (nee DiFrancesco), his loving children Richard Carney and Meghan Cintorino (Nicholas), his grandchildren Amanda, Lizzy and Enzo.  Also survived by his brother, Joseph Donohue and many friends.
