William J. Devinney

William J. Devinney, 73, of Honey Brook, PA, formerly of Upper Darby, PA, passed away January 14, 2026.

Born August 17, 1952 in Upper Darby, PA, he was a son of the late Martin L. and Rosemarie (nee McAndrews) Devinney.

Bill was a baseball coach for the 69th Street Athletic Association for many years as well as a football coach at St Alice’s. He worked for Acme Markets until his retirement, working in many departments.

William was the beloved brother of Margaret Cox (George), Patricia Willis (Bob), Mary McCloskey, Michael Devinney, and Joseph Devinney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings: Martin, Theresa, Elaine, and Nancy.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
