William Michael Cancelmo, 62, passed away on April 17, 2018 in Wayne, PA after a long battle with Huntington's Disease.
Michael was born on April 24, 1955 in Ardmore, PA.
He was a graduate of the Malvern Preparatory School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Hartford.
Michael worked for most of his life as an independent contractor, maintaining a successful painting business.
He enjoyed deep sea fishing with his cousins off the Carolina coasts, photography, trips down the shore to Avalon, and spending time with his family at Sunday dinners.
Michael had a lifelong companionship with his dear friend Lisa Paden.
Later in life, Michael took up the game of golf, and enjoyed playing with his brothers and nephew.
He is survived by his mother, Nancy (Dalton) Cancelmo of Wayne, PA, siblings Karen McFadden of Exton, PA, Nancy (Pat) Burke of Kentfield, CA, Jay Cancelmo of Wayne, PA, Mia Cancelmo of Wayne, PA and Matt (Betsy) Cancelmo of Oxford, PA.
He was the cherished uncle of Ryan (Marla) McFadden of West Chester, PA, Kelley McFadden of Exton, PA, Kevin (Mallory) Burke of San Anselmo, CA and Amanda Livingston of Mill Valley, CA.
He is preceded in death by his father, Dr. John Benjamin Cancelmo.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a visitation that will be held at Donohue Funeral Home, 366 W Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA. Saturday, April 28, 2018, from 10am-12pm so guests can pay their condolences.
