WILLIAM T., age 98, on June 14, 2024, of Springfield, Delaware County. U.S. Navy Veteran, WW II.

Bill had a distinguished career as a Real Estate Appraiser (MAI) and Consultant. He served as an expert real estate valuation witness in PA, NJ and U.S. District Court in condemnation matters. Additionally, he instructed nationally-sponsored courses for the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers and the Society of Real Estate Appraisers. 

Beyond his professional life, Bill was deeply involved in church communities. He spent 50 years as a second tenor with the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Choir in Drexel Hill, where he also served as a Choir Director for 35 years. His dedication extended to promoting Eucharistic Adoration and contributing to the founding of Holy Cross Church's adoration program in Springfield. Bill was a regular guest on the former Catholic radio program "As the Spirit Leads." In his later years, he was a proud member of the St. Pius Men's Prayer Group.

Bill's strong faith in God sustained him, and he inspired many who knew and loved him. His joyful approach to life, sense of humor, and beautiful singing voice left a lasting impact. He enjoyed music, reading, studying, sports, crossword puzzles and cherished time with family and friends. In his younger days, Bill played baseball, coached CYO football at St. Charles, and enjoyed the game of tennis.

Bill was predeceased by his wife, Mary T. Burke (Cahill), his son, Paul J. Burke, his second wife, Margaret J. Burke (Leonard/Gerace) and his step-son, Robert V. Gerace. Predeceased by brothers Elmer J. Burke and Ronald F. Burke (the late Isabel). Beloved father of Mary V. Burke (Craig Harnitchek), Eileen Newcomb Foster (Craig Foster), William F. Burke (Margaret), Martin T. Burke (Lisa), Lois E. Gerace and John G. Gerace. Beloved grandfather of Mary T. Diffenderfer, Kevin M. Burke, Kelly A. Linskey, Veronica E. Burke, Jessica L. Gerace, Jeffrey V. Gerace, Bryce M. Burke and Lauren E. Hoover. Beloved great grandfather of Drew R. Diffenderfer, Brynn M. Diffenderfer, Colin B. Diffenderfer, Patrick Linskey, Ace Gerace, Cru Gerace and Jett Gerace.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.on Monday, June 24, 2024 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at St. Pius X Church, 220 S. Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA 19008. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 235 E. Matsonford Road, West Conshohocken, PA 19428. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eternal Word TV Network, 5817 Old Leeds Road, Irondale, AL 35210.
