William Joseph "Bill" Bricker

William Joseph "Bill" Bricker, age 81, of Newtown Square, PA, passed away on July 7, 2024.

Born in Ridley Park, PA in 1942, he was the son of the late Charles and Louise (nee Sharkey) Bricker. Bill received his Engineering degree and MBA from Drexel University. He served as the COO and Acting President of CHOP for 15 years and as a consultant for hospital turnaround. He was a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen Church, Media, PA. Bill was a man of integrity and he dedicated himself to making life easy for everyone. He enjoyed playing golf and tennis and appreciated cars. Bill was a member of the Delaware County Corvettes, Great Bay Country Club, and Ocean City Yacht Club. He loved his children and grandchildren.

Bill was the beloved husband of Diane Bricker (nee Colaianni); loving father of Nicholas Bricker and the late Joelle Bricker-Morris; caring grandfather of Greg Morris, Tyler Morris, and Ryland Bricker and great-grandfather of Jack Morris and Lane Morris; dear brother of Louise Clements, Alice Barron, Mary Robinson, Carol Roberts, and Charles Bricker.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Monday, July 15, 2024 at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N. Providence Road, Media, PA 19063, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment private.
