It is with shattered hearts that we announce the passing of our precious baby boy, Wesley Robert Prisuta, who went to heaven on April 25, 2026.
After a courageous month-long battle at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, our Wesley Warrior passed peacefully in the arms of his parents. Though his time with us was brief, his impact on our lives was profound. He taught us the true meaning of lion-hearted strength and unconditional love.
He was a beacon of light, cherished by everyone who met him. Known for his infectious laugh, love of nature, and easy-going spirit, Wes brought immense joy into our home and to the lives of all who knew him.
Wesley leaves behind a family who will carry his memory forever; his devoted parents Matthew and Meghan Prisuta; his beloved twin brother James (Jimmy); and his adoring sisters, Vada (5), and Riley (3), who will deeply miss the laughter and light of their baby brother.
Wes is also survived by his proud grandparents, Bob and Pinky McGreevy (Pops and Gigi), and Rich and Sue Prisuta (Grandad and Grandma); his great grandfather Thomas Ballingall (G-Pop); many loving uncles and aunts; seven big cousins; and countless friends and extended family members who were blessed to know and love him.
Welcoming Wesley into heaven with open arms are seven of his great grandparents, his Aunt Rebecca Prisuta and Uncle Miles McGreevy; and many other members of the Prisuta and McGreevy extended families gone before us.
Wes lived with a beautiful simplicity, often reminding us that he was "just happy to be here." By embracing that same spirit—finding joy in the mere presence of others and the quiet beauty of the day—we keep his light alive. In honor of his memory, we ask that you hold your loved ones a little closer today.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00 AM-12:00 PM Saturday, May 2, 2026 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, followed by his Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Interment at Birmingham Lafayette Cemetery will be private for family only.
