Wendy Burke Walker

Wendy Burke Walker, age 44, of Media, PA, passed away on July 29, 2022.

Born in Abington, PA, she was the daughter of Joseph Arnhold (Carol) and the late Karen B. (née Burke) Eisenstein and the step-daughter of John F. Eisenstein.  Wendy was the wife of Paul J. Walker; the loving mother of Conner and Kara Walker; sister of Ted Flick (Sandy) and family, Zakary Arnhold (Lyna) and family, Justin Arnhold (Sara) and family.  Wendy is predeceased by her grandparents, Norma & Joseph Burke, Joseph & Lillian Arnhold, and Leo and Gerry Eisenstein, and her cousin, Sean Patrick Burke.

Wendy was a graduate of Strath Haven High School and Penn State University. She was the Vice-President of Walker Benefit Solutions for 22 years.

Wendy loved spending summers at Wildwood, NJ, being at the beach enjoying the sun and surf.  She also treasured time spent at her home in Tioga County, where she loved the mountains, being outdoors, snowmobiling, and skiing.  To the list of her favorites was Delco, where she delighted spending time with her friends and family.  Above all, Wendy was a devoted mother to her two cherished children, Conner & Kara.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Sunday Evening, August 7, 2022, 5:00 – 9:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA  19382, 610-431-9000, and Monday morning, August 8, 2022, 9:00 – 10:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382 followed by her Funeral Mass, 11:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N. Providence Road, Media, PA 19063.  Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
