Wayne M. Bellissimo, age 58, of Essington, PA, passed away on August 14, 2018.
Born in Chelsea, MA, he was the son of Shirley Bellissimo (nee Gore) and the late Vincent Bellissimo.
Wayne was a graduate of Yeadon High School and West Chester University.
As a child, while his father served in the U.S. Navy, he lived in Florida, California and Pennsylvania, which led to his fondness for traveling. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and son.
Wayne loved a good argument, embracing challenges, Italian subs and was a big John Wayne fan.
In addition to his mother, Wayne is survived by his children Randy, Alex and Bridget, his grandchildren Connor, Cameron, Aiden, Brian, Chase, Alex and Damian and his siblings Kevin (Dot), Brenda Kemp (Doug) and Vincent (Mary).
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 1:00-3:00 PM in The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Service at 3:00 PM.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 would be appreciated.
