Warren Edwin Greenwald

Warren Edwin Greenwald, 89, of West Chester, PA passed away on August 3, 2022, after a battle with cancer.

He was predeceased by his parents, George and Marion (née Chase) Greenwald and older siblings; Florence Porter and George Greenwald.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Marjory; his children, Brian Greenwald (Arlene), Scott Greenwald (Bridget) and Lisa Weber; and his grandchildren, Brianna Greenwald, Josh Weber (Krystal), Victoria Greenwald and Laura Greenwald.

Warren graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from Rutgers University in 1954 and served as an officer in the Air Force on base in Texas where he met Marjory, who served in the Air Force as a nurse.

After honorable discharge as 1^st Lieutenant, he married and worked for General Electric in Cincinnati, Ohio. They moved to Pennsylvania in 1961, where he worked for the Budd, Vishay and Wyeth Companies as an Engineer, retiring after 23 years of service with Wyeth.

Warren loved to learn, create and build things. He was frequently found tinkering on cars, working in his wood shop or gardening when he was not reading. Warren had a strong faith in Jesus, serving and worshipping at Advent Lutheran Church for the past 25 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:30-11:00 AM Saturday, September10, 2022 at Advent Lutheran Church, 1601 Green Lane, West Chester, PA followed by his Funeral Service 11:00 AM.
