Walter D. Hubickey

Walter D. Hubickey, age 90, of Glen Mills, PA, passed away on October 6, 2026.

Born in Chester, PA in 1936, he was the son of the late Walter W. and Anna (nee Leszczynsky) Hubickey. Walter served honorably in the US Army and achieved the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. He enjoyed fishing, exploring, and traveling and had a fondness for the Philadelphia area. Walter was a family man at heart and loved spending time with his grandchildren and imparting valuable life lessons. He was very sociable and well known within the Maris Grove community where he resided.

Walter was the beloved husband of the late Gypsy (nee Johnson) Hubickey; loving father of Walter John Hubickey (Ana), Susan Bratton (Kevin), and the late Paul Hubickey; caring grandfather of Victoria Christoff (Ben), Jessica Hubickey Botha (Jarryd), Joana Fischer (Kyle), Nikolas Peoria (Stephanie), Dominik Peoria, and Nina O’Malley (Christopher) and loving great-grandfather to his great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert J. Hubickey.

Services and interment are private.
