Virginia L. Goodfellow

Virginia L. Goodfellow, 90, of Delaware County, PA and Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on March 16, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in 1935 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Regina (née Johnston) Goodfellow.

Virginia was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls and worked for Septa for 30 years. She loved traveling, spending time at the beach and shopping. She was a great friend to everyone.

Virginia was predeceased by her first husband, William Hallinan in 2000 and her second husband, Mark Hennessy in 2017.

She was the loving mother of William Hallinan (Elizabeth), Patrick Hallinan (Linda), Virginia Smith (Craig), Lisa Vasaturro (Joseph), Daniel Hallinan (Debbie) and David Hallinan (Debbie); proud MomMom ChooChoo to 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; dear sister of Lois Brady (John).

Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service 11:00 AM Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 4560 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM, Thursday, April 9, 2026 and to her Memorial Mass 11:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 338 Manor Ave, Downingtown, PA. Inurnment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
