Vincent Della Torre

Vincent T. “Vinnie” Della Torre, 93, West Chester, PA, formerly of Belleville, NJ, passed away on December 5, 2021.

Born in Queens, NY in 1928, Vincent was the son of the late Thomas and Carmella (nee Alessi) Della Torre. He served honorably in the US Marine Corps during WWII as a “China Marine”. Vincent worked as a Food Distribution Warehouse Manager prior to retiring. He was an Expert competitive handgun shooter. Vincent enjoyed collecting stamps, especially first day covers. He was a member and usher at St. Peter’s Church in Belleville, NJ. Vincent’s love for his family was of the utmost importance to him.

Vincent was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth A. (nee DiSturco) Della Torre; loving father of Laura J. Hunter (Dennis R.), Thomas Della Torre (Valerie A.), and Lisa C. Cuevas (Joseph); caring grandfather of Tara (Matthew), Alissa (Raymond), Todd (Leslee), Vincent (Christina), Jason (Whitney), Brian (Corinne), Joseph, and Justin and great-grandfather of Caitlin, Keegan, Elizabeth, Gracyn, Raymond, Kayla, Madison, and Cooper; dear brother of Philip Della Torre (Jean), Diane Moccio (Michael), and the late Carolyn Kearney (the late Martin).

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday, April 2, 2022 at SS Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd, West Chester, PA followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM.
