Veronica Nask

Veronica M. Nask (née Conley), 80, of Newtown Square, PA, passed peacefully on December 3, 2021. She was lovingly known to all friends and family as “Ronnie”

She was born the daughter of Veronica Link and Thomas Conley, in Northeast Philadelphia in 1941.  The youngest of seven siblings, Billy, Eleanor, Mary, Margaret, Patsy, Tommy and “Ronnie”.

She graduated, with honors, from St. Boniface Business School in 1957. Ronnie went on to work for Irish Airlines and soon met her future husband, Joseph Nask, whom she wed in Philadelphia April 1963. From then on Ronnie became the wonderful wife, mother and friend we all knew.

She was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease 20 years ago and through that became an advocate for Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Foundation. Ronnie and her family always looked forward to building a team of friends each year to help raise awareness of Parkinson’s through the annual Unity Walk in Central Park, NY.

Ronnie also took great pride in participating and being part of a Parkinson’s community through her speech therapy groups and boxing/exercise classes.

Ronnie was preceded in death by her parents and 7 siblings.

She is survived by Joseph, her husband of 58 years; sister-in-law Pat Conley; her five children, Joseph R. Nask III, Monica Nask, Michael Nask, Janine Nask (the late James), Alana Zerillo (Joseph); and grandchildren Nathan, Ryan and Vivienne.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, December 9, 2021 and 9:00-10:00 AM Friday at the Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 610-431-9000, followed by her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
