Veronica Le Sage

Veronica Regina Le Sage (Ron), a loving wife, Mom, Mom-Mom, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away Friday, May 14, 2021, surrounded by family. The love of her life, Herbert (Bud) Le Sage, preceded her in death in 1999. And twenty-two years was a long time to be away from her best friend. So, she joined him after celebrating one final Mother’s Day, just after what would have been their 65th wedding anniversary and a month shy of her 90th birthday.

Born Veronica Killeen in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia on June 20, 1931 to her parents Thomas and Sarah (Cassidy) Killeen, Ron was 8th of ten children. She attended Little Flower High School, graduating in 1949. She married Bud in 1956. They began life as a family in Havertown, Pa. and eventually settled in West Chester where they raised their family. She loved her family, her friends, her Phillies, the beach and a good Manhattan. She was a devoted parishioner of Sts. Simon & Jude Parish for many years, and regularly vacationed at their beach house in Tuckerton, NJ.

Ron is survived by her children: Bud Jr. (Melinda), Veronica Carrone (Dan), Tom, Michael (Jenny), Jim, and Rita Brownholtz (Dan); nine grandchildren: Jennifer Masorli (Michael), Katie Golinowski, Daniel Carrone Jr., Mitchell Le Sage (Emily), Carolynn Royar (Eric), Madeline Goodwin (Ed), Anthony Carrone, Bryan Brownholtz, and Stephen Brownholtz; five great-grandchildren: Maddie, Ava, Kenna, Vivian, and Colton; her sisters Peggy Bonaccorsi and Mary McDermott, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 10 AM - 12 PM, Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Saints Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382 followed by a Funeral Mass at 12PM.
