Velda Arters

Velda I. Arters (née Berkey), 81 of Elverson, PA passed away on February 6, 2021.

Born in West Caln Twp, PA in 1939, Velda was the daughter of the late Dick and Mamie Ruth (née Hagaman) Berkey.

Velda was the beloved wife of Howard E. Arters, Sr.; the loving mother of Debra Kaiser (Samuel, Sr.) and Howard Arters, (Jr.), Lisa; the cherished “mom-mom” of Crystal Snow (Kevin), Samuel Kaiser, Jr.(Rebecca) and Hanna Arters, and great-grandmother of Brandon Kaiser, Gabriel Kaiser, Alyia Kaiser, Zeelin Kaiser, Olivia Snow and Samantha Snow.  She is also survived by her brother, Daniel Berkey, and was predeceased by her sister, Delta Slaymaker.

Velda enjoyed painting landscapes and animals and was also considered a very good cook by many, but most of all, she cherished her family.

Services for Velda have been postponed will be held privately at a later time.
