Thomas Ruane

Thomas E. “Tiger” Ruane, 80, of Glenolden, Pa (formerly of Yeadon & Drexel Hill, PA) passed away on October 25, 2021. He is predeceased by his parents Edward and Mary S. (nee McConlogue) Ruane and his beloved wife Mary T. (nee Marchei) Ruane.

Tiger was born in Poughkeepsie, NY, graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School class of 1959 and also from Pierce College. He served in the US Marine Corp Reserves and had been employed as a plant manager at Dynamic Blending until his retirement.

Tiger was a good husband, loving father and wonderful Pop-Pop. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his children Anita Ruane, Lisa Messner (Christopher) and Thomas E. Ruane, Jr. (Jennifer), grandchildren Matthew & Colleen Messner and Kaitlyn & Carly Ruane.  Tiger is also survived by his brothers William, Stephen & Michael.

Family and friends are invited to his Visitation Monday November 1st from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home 746 Kedron Ave. Morton, Pa 19070 followed by his 11:00 AM Funeral Service. Interment: SS Peter & Paul Cemetery
