Thomas J. McGee, age 68, of Wynnewood, PA, passed away on February 14, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of Freida McGee (nee Neileski) and the late Joseph McGee.
Thomas was employed as a carpenter and was also a Vo-Tech teacher.
Tom loved all sports and was talented in most. As a young man, he took beautiful photos. He loved caring for animals, especially fish and reptiles. He called the family cat "his best buddy". He enjoyed the beach, his condo in Sea Isle, NJ, swamps and bird sanctuaries, Temple basketball games, Phillies games, music, and being at home with his family.
Tom hated change. He used magnifying glasses and a large horn instead of glasses and hearing aids. He was a humanist and the "slowest many in the world", who was always late.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Lois, his loving son, Kyle and his nephew, Austin McGee.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tom's memory to The Sierra Club, Pennsylvania Chapter, 4100 Main Street, Philadelphia, PA 19127 would be appreciated.
