Thomas W. Major passed away on the evening ofJune 7, 2018 while surrounded by his loving
family. He was born in 1953 in Wilmington Oelaware to the late Ruth (Virdin) and Charles Major on August 21. He grew up in Wilmington with his brother Paul and attended Mount Pleasant High School, York Academy of Art, and The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art.
He moved to Pennsylvania and began working for various companies including Felber
Ornamental Plastering Corporation and the KalwallCorporation where he worked in a sales capacity.
Nothing was more enjoyable to him than attending his children's sports and activities. Tom
loved spending time with his family, road trips, and travel. He was also an avid fly fisherman and student of history with a strong appreciation for art.
He is survived by his beloved wife of thirty years Helen (Ruck) Major and cherished sons
Christian and Andrew, his brother Paul and Gail (Oxner) and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a Visitation for relatives and friends on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at St. Thomas of Villanova Campus Church, 800 E Lancaster Avenue, Villanova, PA 19085, from 9:00 to 9:50 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 AM.
