Thomas Laughlin, Sr.

Thomas James Laughlin, Sr., 77, of Havertown, PA, passed away October 5, 2018.

Born in Darby, PA, he was the beloved son of Charles B. and Catherine (nee Boppel) Laughlin.

Thomas was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School in 1959 and a graduate of Villanova University in 1963. He received his MBA from Drexel University.

Thomas loved his family dearly, was an avid Villanova fan and golfer. He enjoyed vacationing in Ocean City, NJ for the past 54 years. He was a lifelong member of Annunciation, a loyal member of Karakung Swim Club, and a vocal supporter of youth sports. He is a member of the Monsignor Bonner Hall of Fame for swimming.

Thomas is survived by the love of his life of 54 years Mary Ann (nee Ditrow) Laughlin; loving children Thomas J. Laughlin, Jr., (Jacqueline), Karen Powel (Joseph), Jennifer Millay (David), Susan Littlepage (Jeff), Stephen Laughlin (Jody); dear siblings Hannah Rowan, Elizabeth Flynn (Joseph), John Laughlin, the late Charles V. Laughlin; cherished grandchildren Shannon (Joe), Danielle, Jessica (Ben), Kaitlyn, Michael, Emily, Ryan, Rachael, Brendan, Erin, Connor, Alexandra, Cole, Hannah; and loving great grandchildren Madison, Makenzie, Landon, Jacob, and Patrick.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his viewing Thursday, October 11, 2018 6:00-9:00 PM and Friday, October 12, 2018 8:30-9:45 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd, Havertown, PA. Interment St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown, PA.
