Thomas Hughes

Thomas L.”Tom” Hughes, age 87, of Havertown, PA, passed away on October 15, 2019.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Christopher and Isabel Hughes (nee Love).

Tom had been employed as a Mechanical Estimator for Ewing Cole, an HVAC company.  He was a family man, an avid gardener, loved Philadelphia Sports and visiting Ocean City, MD.

He is survived by his beloved wife Grace D. Hughes (nee Doherty) and his loving children Anne H. Murphy (Raymond), John Hughes, Leo B. Hughes (Shari) and Paul J. Hughes.   Also survived by his 6 grandchildren Sean Murphy, Jessica Fails, Rachel Murphy, Kristen Kobasa, Julia Hughes and Michael Hughes and his 6 great-grandchildren Avery Kobasa, Brynn Kobasa, Mason Kobasa, Harper Kobasa, Beryl Fails and Sylvia Fails.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Monday, October 21, 2019 9:00-11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
