Thomas J. Gummel

Thomas J. Gummel, age 53, of Springfield, PA, passed away on August 10, 2026. Born in Upper Darby, PA, he was the son of Kathleen A. (nee Brennan) and the late Thomas C. Gummel.

Thomas was the beloved husband of Selena Waxman; loving father of Brooke C. Gummel; caring brother of Daniel Gummel (Sunny) and Kevin Gummel (Alex) and brother-in-law of Stacey Waxman. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Annemarie Waxman, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Thomas will be missed dearly by all those who loved him.

Family and friends are invited to Tom’s Viewing from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, August 14th at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082 and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 15th at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Ave, Springfield, PA 19064.
