Thomas M. “Tom” Del Rossi, age 83, a longtime resident of Drexel Hill, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026. Born in Philadelphia, he was the beloved son of the late Thomas E. and Rita J. Del Rossi (née DeSanto).
Tom proudly served in the United States Army, where he developed the discipline and sense of duty that guided his life. He went on to build a respected career in banking, known for his integrity, professionalism, and commitment to colleagues and clients.
A devoted sports fan, Tom was a lifelong supporter of America’s team, the Dallas Cowboys. His greatest joy, however, was sharing his love of sports with his three children—coaching, keeping “the book” as scorekeeper, supporting and chauffeuring them all around town. He always put family first.
Tom was the beloved husband of Maria R. Del Rossi (née Binni); loving father of Jodi Dickinson (née Del Rossi) (Hunter Hayes), Thomas J. Del Rossi (Cyndi), and Michael J. Del Rossi; and proud grandfather of Joshua, Caitlyn, Thomas J. “TJ” Del Rossi, and Jude H. Hayes, as well as step grandfather of Angel Petracci. He is also survived by his sister, Marianne Foster-Del Rossi.
Family and friends are invited to a Visitation on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 10:00–11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
