Theresa M. Schaible

Theresa M. Schaible (née Lyons), 92, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Aston, PA passed away on June 30, 2024.

Born in 1932, in Philadelphia, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Nora Lyons.

Theresa was the beloved wife, for 43 years, of the late Francis Kirkpatrick; and the wife, for 14 years, of the late Edward Schaible; loving mother of Elaine Kirkpatrick and Theresa Roberts (Rich Bubka); grandmother of Katie Kirkpatrick, Stephanie Chrzanowski, Caitlin Palermo, Kevin Nilan, Kelly Nilan, Alexandra Villanueva and Adam Roberts; great-grandmother of Riley, Stella, Rogan, Cassia and Vincent. She was predeceased by her children, Christine Nilan (Steve), Michael Kirkpatrick; and son-in-law, Thomas Roberts. 

Theresa was a 1950 graduate of Hallahan High School. She worked for Bell Telephone until 1955 and after raising her children, went to work for Elwyn Institute as an Aide to special needs children. 

She retired to Rio Grande, NJ, where she was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies of the Assembly. She was also a member of St. John Neumann Parish in North Cape May, NJ. Theresa enjoyed gardening, cooking and playing Bingo. She later returned to West Chester, PA and lived her final years at Sunrise of Westtown. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Friday, July 5, 2024 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Rd., West Chester, PA followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment Private.
