Theresa B. "Mom Mom" Ford

Theresa Bridie Ford (née McFadden), of Havertown, PA, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, gentleness, and devotion to family.

Theresa was born on April 8, 1932, in Philadelphia, PA, to Irish immigrants Hugh McFadden and Margaret McCausland. She attended West Catholic High School. She met the love of her life, John "Jack" Ford and together they built a marriage centered on love, respect, and faith.

Theresa was a beacon of strength for her entire family. She will be remembered for her quiet compassion, unwavering kindness, and steadfast commitment to her core value: family. Her home was always open, and she had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome.

Theresa is survived by her children, John, Michael, Thomas, and Theresa, and was predeceased by her son, William Ford. She also leaves behind twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish her memory. She is now joyfully reunited with her beloved husband, Jack, who passed away in 2023.

Our family would also like to express our deepest appreciation to the exceptional staff at Providence Home in Southampton and Brandywine Suites in East Norriton. Their dedication, compassion, and willingness to go the extra mile in caring for our mother never went unnoticed, and we will be forever grateful for the extraordinary care they provided.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 12th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 13th, at 10:30 a.m. at Annunciation Parish, 401 Brookline Blvd, Havertown, PA 19083, followed by Interment at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
