Theodore Parsons, Sr.

Theodore E. “Ted” Parsons, Sr. passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on March 8, 2021.

Ted was a kind man with a great sense of humor. He graduated from Upper Darby High School and later attended Gettysburg College where played soccer and was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. After college he joined the Army for a time and returned with great stories about his travels and service to his country. He was an avid reader and loved history. Ted was a big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles (he finally got to see them win a Super Bowl) and the Phillies. He also loved to watch and play golf. Spending time with his three granddaughters brought him such joy.

He was predeceased by his parents Arthur & Charlotte (nee Kresse) Parsons. Ted was the beloved husband of Josephine (nee Abate) Parsons, loving father of Theodore E. “Ted” Parsons, Jr. (Amy) and Jennifer Kelly (Pete), adoring grandfather of Sunny, Rosy & Parker and wonderful brother of Arthur Parsons, Jr. (Judy) and Karen Fritschel (Larry).

The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Molly Mills, RN for her help and comfort towards him.
