Teresa Ann Holman

Teresa Ann Holman, 56, of West Chester, PA, passed away March 20, 2022.

Born August 29, 1965 in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of Mary (née Coyle) Bucciarelli and the late Dominick Bucciarelli. 

Teresa was a 1983 graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School, 1987 graduate of Allentown College of Saint Francis DeSales School of Nursing, and earned her Master’s Degree from Villanova University School of Nursing in 2007. She was an exceptional student and a passionate nurse. She was a member of Delta Epsilon Sigma National Scholastic Honor Society and Sigma Tau Nursing Honor Society. During her years at Allentown College she earned the Nursing Excellence Award and the DeSales Medal of Honor, for the graduate who best exemplifies the spirit of Saint Francis DeSales; and from Villanova University she earned the 2007 Distinguished Academic Achievement Medal. Teresa was affiliated with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Gerontological Advance Practice Nurses’ Association, and the Hospice and Palliative Care Nurses’ Association, with whom she held an advanced certification. Throughout her career, she volunteered her clinical expertise at various organizations delivering medical care to underserved communities in Delaware and Chester Counties.

Teresa had deep rooted faith and lived the philosophy of her adopted patron saint Mother Teresa “Doing small things with great love.” She was a parishioner of SS. Philip and James Church since 1999. She was a talented artist, an avid reader, and enjoyed sailing and traveling with her family. She will be dearly missed.

Teresa was the beloved wife of Robert E. Holman; loving mother of Erin Casabona (Joseph), Timothy Holman (Allison), and Brendan Holman; adoring Mom-Mom of Teresa, Louis, and Abigail Casabona; and dear sister of Dominick Bucciarelli (Angela), Daniel Bucciarelli, Elena Perri (Paul), Kathleen Florkowski, Maria Pote (Eric), and Clare Loranger (Matthew).

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 6 to 8 PM, Friday, March 25, 2022 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382 and 10 to 10:50 AM, Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Ss. Philip and James Church, 107 N Ship Rd, Exton, PA 19341, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Interment at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catholic Relief Services, P.O. Box 17090, Baltimore, MD 21297-0303 or to Community Volunteers In Medicine, 300B Lawrence Drive, West Chester, PA 19380.
