Screw McCracken

Screw (Terence McCracken), age 80, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on March 26, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Robert Douglas and Florence McCracken (nee Hartman).

Terence, affectionately known as "Screw," was a man of unwavering commitment and profound love for those around him. He was a devoted Truck Driver for Nabisco who embraced life with his unwavering spirit and dedication, a true cornerstone of strength for his family and friends. Throughout his life, he found joy in the simple pleasures - from his love for vacationing in Mexico, Ireland, and Greece to the peaceful moments spent at the beach and Clifton Heights Pool. His legacy as a provider shone brightly through the care he extended to his cherished family and friends.

Screw was the loving father of Joanne Barr, Terry McCracken (Diana), Daryl McCracken, Nicholette Pech, Kelly McCracken (Jim Smith), Jacinda Lopez (Jose) and David Herbolsheimer and caring brother of David McCracken (Denise). Also survived by 30 plus grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren who will always hold him dear in their hearts. Screw was predeceased by his children, Shirley Leyva (Victor), Robert McCracken, Mary Ann McCracken, granddaughter, Amber McCracken, first wife Jeanne Harris, and second wife Christine "Tina" McCracken (nee Kyros). Their memories will forever be treasured.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 2:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by his Funeral Service at 4:00 PM. Interment Private.
