Tema Tiller

Tema L. (Schwartz) Tiller, 76, died Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Chester County Neighborhood Hospice after a brave battle with cancer.
Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Edythe and Aaron Schwartz.
Tema was the loving mother of Steven Tiller (Gina De Stefano) and Dee Dee Tiller (Andrew Kman), devoted grandmother of Aaron, Milo, and Vivienne Tiller, and dear sister of Susan Erenberg and Martin Schwartz (Debbie).
Following an over 40 year teaching career in four different school districts, Tema spent nearly 30 years as a reading specialist with the West Chester Area School District.
She was a loyal member of PSEA Retired, Chester and Delaware Counties NEA, retired state delegate, and attended Gettysburg Leadership Conference, PSEA.
She was elected multiple times to the NEA National Representative Assembly.
She was a charter member of the Brandywine Auxiliary at Chester County Hospital and a member of the Sisterhood at Congregation Or Shalom in Berwyn.

A celebration of Tema's life will be held at a later date.
