Susan G. Sam

Susan Gertrude Sam (nee Leong), age 88, of West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully at Freedom Village on November 15, 2025.

Born in New York, NY in 1937, she was the daughter of the late Soon Y. Leong and Frances Fong Lan Ng. Susan raised her family in Westtown, PA. She was a charter member of Advent Lutheran Church.

Susan was the beloved wife of the late Philip Sam; loving mother of Debra Sam, Phillip W. Sam, and F. Gail Metzner; dear sister of Sandra Lee (Eddie) and Vivien Leong (Harvey) and brothers, Leslie Leong (Lucille) and Roland Leong (Kathy); also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service 11 AM Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Advent Lutheran Church, 1601 Green Lane, West Chester, PA 19382.
