Susan Shay Conville

Susan Shay Conville, born on September 29, 1950, peacefully passed away on September 24, 2025. A devoted mother and cherished sister, Susan leaves behind a legacy of warmth and dedication both in her family and professional life.

Susan's career spanned various secretarial positions, demonstrating her versatility and commitment to her work. For the last ten years, she found great pleasure in working for her son, Robert Chavis, at DL Printing in Claymont, Delaware. This role not only highlighted her strong work ethic but also underscored the close bond she shared with her son.

An alumna of Upper Darby High School, Susan maintained a lifelong passion for learning and personal development. Beyond her professional achievements, she was known for her love of animals, reflecting her compassionate nature and nurturing spirit.

Susan is survived by her son, Robert Chavis, and her sister, Anne Shay. She was predeceased by her husband, William S. Conville, and her parents, Robert Shay and Anne Usilton Shay.

Her memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege to know her, and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
