Stephanie Talunas

Stephanie was born on May 13, 1945 in Philadelphia to her loving parents John and Stephanie Bednarik (nee Gasperec).  Her career was spent mostly in government service working for the US Mint in Philadelphia, and later on, the IRS.

She is survived by her son, Walter Talunas, Jr. Stephanie was an incredibly kind, intelligent, giving, compassionate, patient and loving person and mother.  She was a self-sacrificing daughter, who devoted her life to taking care of her mother. Throughout her life, she volunteered to help those less fortunate than her.

Her passion for knowledge never ceased, taking college courses as time permitted with a concentration on computer programming.  She loved gardening and was also a voracious reader - never out of arm's reach of a book
