Sr. Margaret E. Naab, S.H.C.J., formerly Mother Mary Alacoque, passed away on April 2, 2018.
Sister was 96 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Frederick and Christine Naab (nee Rodig), dear sister of the late Rev. Walter Naab, OSF, Frederick Naab, Gerry Naab and John Naab, Sr. Marie Kathryn Naab, S.H.C.J., Beatrice Naab and Theresa Blaney.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Sister Margaret received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Rosemont College, and her Master of Fine Arts Degree from Catholic University of America.
Sister also pursued Post Graduate Art Studies.
She taught in St. James School, St. Edward School, West Catholic Girls High School and St. Charles Seminary all in Philadelphia, St. Elizabeth School in New York City, NY and Holy Child High School in Rye, NY.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Saturday, April 7, 2018 10:00-11:00 AM New Sharon Chapel, 1341 Montgomery Avenue, Rosemont, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
Interment Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
A Wake Service will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 4:00 PM in New Sharon Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Sisters of the Holy Child Jesus Retirement Fund, 1341 Montgomery Avenue, Rosemont, PA 19010 would be appreciated.
