Sister Anne Wootten, RSM

Sister Anne Wootten, RSM, age 78, a member of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, died peacefully on February 5, 2024, at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, PA.

A Sister of Mercy for 58 years, Anne responded to the call to service in mercy through her dedication to the health care ministry, her passion for justice and her commitment to care for the earth.

In keeping with her love of the earth, Anne’s natural burial took place on February 8, at the Convent of Mercy Cemetery.

Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on February 22 at 11:00 AM at the Convent of Mercy Chapel, 515 Montgomery Ave. Merion, PA 19064.
